All too many times we have called a business and been told that the information we are asking about is not available because we have reached the answering service. There is dead silence and the operator offers no additional assistance. Being a seamless extension to a business when handling their calls is imperative. The right answering service will offer additional assistance, assure you that you will receive a return call promptly and ensure the information is immediately passed along to the proper person. A carefully customized account with well laid out instructions and a pleasant, accommodating voice can make answering transparent.

Every call that comes in could mean new business. The person answering the phone does not always have all the answers, the pricing or may not be experienced in handling objections. The initial call is going to create a first impression and a lasting impression. If your caller is greeted by a professional voice informing them that a consultant will be contacting them shortly to provide them with all their answers they will feel good about their experience and happy to have a return call.

The purpose of communication is to influence and stimulate reaction. A mundane operator that sounds like a robot reading a script is not going to represent your business well. Award winning operators that go that extra step will get the job done and increase your revenue one call at a time!

We have all been taught since early childhood the importance of proper speech. Listening, really listening is just as important when communicating, if not more important!

Listening is one of the most vaulable skills an operator can have. They need to listen to fully understand and they need to listen to collect and relay the proper information.

“People listen with the goal of responding. Be that silence that is needed when someone speaks.” Lolly Daskal

All too many times we call to order a product, get additional information on a service and the person answering the line rambles on with their scripted speech wasting your time when all you wanted to do was ask a simple question. Your pre-determined impression of the company rapidly declines and you just want to get off the phone.

A wise old owl lived in an oak.

The more he saw the less he spoke

The less he spoke the more he heard.

Why can’t we all be like that wise old bird? – unknown author

Trained operators that fully understand the value of listening can hone this skill easily and are much more competent.

Did you ever play the game in school were a message was passed around the room? The teacher would pass a phrase onto one child who would pass it onto another and so on. By the time it reached the last child the message was generally totally distorted. It was a fun game when you were a child but not so much in business. Food for thought in our every day lives.

The answering service you hire sets your standards and determines how you are perceived within the marketplace. In fact, many callers have no idea that they are actually speaking to an answering service so partnering with a company that can maintain your high standards is crucial . We have all encountered a bad answering service or a bad receptionist. They have poor telephone etiquette, a monotone voice and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. They seem rushed and are so pre-occupied they don’t remember your name, do not confirm your telephone # and you are left wondering if your message got properly relayed.

A well trained operator that cares about your calls with all the right tools and a carefully customized account is going to leave your callers with a good first impression knowing they are in the hands of professionals. Our days are busy and getting incorrect or incomplete messages leads to unnecessary frustration, damages your reputation and hurts your bottom line.

When you speak with someone on the phone, your only interaction is verbal so the words you use and the way in which you articulate them is important. Greeting callers with a smile and a warm, inviting voice sets the tone for the rest of the conversation and lets the caller know their call is important and welcomed.

You have worked hard to make your telephone ring and need to be represented by highly skilled, trained Call Specialists that keep your customers happy… instead of chasing them away!

You’ve heard from the experts that you should personally handle as many of your own calls as possible. What about the times that you are with a client, in a meeting, on another call, having lunch or are in the middle of something else that requires your undivided attention? You have voice mail in place and it costs next to nothing, right? Well that depends on how much new business you can afford to lose and the level of customer care you need to provide to maintain your existing client base. According to a study by Fortune Magazine; 80% of callers disconnect if they receive voice mail.

Staffing 24/7 or hiring a full time receptionist may not be a viable option. An affordable alternative, are the professional and skilled Call Specialists @ Alliance Wireless Communications. Our Virtual Receptionists can represent your business is a seamless manner and immediately send call details to you or your staff members via SMS or email. In addition, we can handle mutilple calls so your potential clients will never again hear the annoying sound of voice mail or a busy signal only to call your competitor.

We offer customized plans to suit all needs and budgets and you won’t have to worry about missing 80% of your calls. We will provide your callers with a professional and positive experience while you broaden your customer base!

Every time I visit Niagara Falls I find I am in awe over the magnificance of the world’s largest falls. Not having had the opportunity to see during the dead of winter, it was a much appreciated experience from both a personal and a business aspect. I had the honor of attending a convention that I was invited to by a client with multiple locations throughout Canada and the US that Alliance Wireless handles calls for and had a wonderful time. My immediate observation after having visited countless times as a child and recently bringing my young son to see was how significantly less crowded it is on the streets during the Canadian winter. The hotels and restaurants seemed totally unaffected and were bustling with numerous groups taking advantage of the beautiful view and nearby atttractions. The Convention gave us an opportunity to meet face to face with several clients that we only knew as a voice over the phone, the opportunity to talk about our new offerings, field questions and introduce our service to new locations that will be joining our team.

A big Thank you to John, Greg and Val for the invite and the opportunity. It was a very well organized, fun-filled two days of face to face contact with a terrific group of people!
